Statement: My work is client-focused. I have developed an extensive understanding of the living body-brain-being, i.e., the soma, and how that aspect of our being is the site of so much wisdom. Primary Training: I trained with Bert Hellinger, Hunter Beaumont, Sneh Victoria Schnabel, Gunthard Weber, Albrecht Mahr Initially. I’ve continued learning from everyone I’ve worked with and taught. It’s my privilege and honor to serve on a variety of international faculties with these and other luminaries in our field.
Length of Training: Never stopped! I started learning this work in 1998 and have continued to develop my understanding and expertise. I recently finished a PhD at Fielding Graduate University in Human and Organizational Systems to broaden my scope of understanding of the work.
Additional Training: In addition to my doctorate, I’m a master practitioner of NLP, a certified clinical hypnotherapist, a certified professional behavioral coach. I’ve studied Shamanism, Process-Oriented Psychology, and more.

I am motivated by the sense of hope and the deep experience of belonging that constellation work offers. I love working with groups and feeling the circle supporting the individual in their quest. Invitation to Gather Together on May 20

SCN Council is hosting a potluck and meeting for SCN members and friends on Sunday, May 20, 1-4pm, in Seattle. Our meeting time will include grounding of SCN’s history, review of current council’s service to and learnings about the organization for the last two years, and election of new council members with proposal of adding an advisory group as part of SCN organizational structure.

The first time I saw Constellations demonstrated, I felt tingles all through my legs. I knew, on some level, that I was meant for this work.

What I love about it is how it taps into the deepest truths and discovers, over and over again, that in the core of our hearts, all we want is to love and be loved.

I’m a Certified Systemic Constellations Facilitator, a graduate of the Seattle Constellations Institute’s 12-month intensive training program.

I facilitate a monthly Friday night Constellations drop-in evening on Eastlake Ave, near downtown Seattle. I also do weekend workshops for “Good Girl” issues using constellations, and I’m developing Enneagram Constellations as well. Upcoming dates for 2011 are listed in the calendar and on my website at Fog to Fire.

My professional background is as a business owner, author, and peacemaker. When I sit as a Constellator, my aim is to help find the place of peace that lives in the family system.

In the silence of our dreams, in our restless thoughts, in the darkest places in our hearts, the terrible experiences that befell our fathers and mothers, grandparents, aunts and uncles live on inside us. These dark influences also motivate our kindness and compassion, propelling us to be healers, peacemakers, and teachers. We honor our ancestors’ losses and soothe their pain by embracing that we are the living fruit of their sacrifices. They grieve when their suffering becomes ours. They bless us when we take our good lives and live well.

Family Constellations & ‘the Ancestors” found me. I am currently answering ‘the call’ by integrating constellations work in my psychotherapy practice. My therapy orientation is aligned with “Hakomi”, a gentle, body-centered, non-judgmental approach. This process, based on mindfulness, compassion & self-study, allows for discovery of beliefs that inhibit potential. As in Constellations work, the ‘interrupted reaching out movement’ becomes apparent. In Hakomi, this is known as a “missing experience”. By becoming the compassionate witness of our experiences, space emerges and we are able to meet ourselves again. From this gentle place we can ‘bring Home our exiled parts’. As we remember in this new way, options for positive growth begin to emerge. Overwhelming emotions (sadness, anger & fear) become manageable & our own wisdom emerges, leading to greater clarity & effectiveness in all areas of life: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. I am dedicated to promoting consciousness and integration of ancestral wisdom into western culture. The hologram of our ancestral blueprints is always with us, and we are in resonance with these blueprints more often than our minds can know or understand. Compassionate acceptance of whomever and whatever has been excluded is our human family’s calling.

In the words of Charlotte the Spider (from Charlotte’s Web): “I know a good thing when I see it, and my web is a good thing.”

Since 1998, I have worked multiple times with Bert Hellinger, Dietrich Weth, Hunter Beaumont, Heinz Stark, Albrecht Mahr, Ursula Franke, Gunthard Weber, Francesca Mason Boring, and other internationally recognized teachers in the Systemic Constellations field. I have organized multiple workshops and trainings for Daan Van Kampenhout, Sneh Victoria Schnabel, and Gabrielle Borkan; attended Germany’s First International Training Intensive for English speakers in 2001; and attended the Second Conference on Spirituality & Constellation Work in 2006, also in Germany.

I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington in 1992 and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My B.A. degree is from the University of Minnesota, a double major in Sociology and English and minor in Women’s Studies. From 1993-2000, my psychotherapy practice was held at Seattle’s Samaritan Center of Puget Sound, formerly Presbyterian Counseling Service. Since 2000, my psychotherapy practice and Constellation offerings are based out of Bellingham, WA. I have a Level II Certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, EMDR (1996); acreditation in Emotional Intelligence (Hay McBer Consultants, 1999); and longstanding expertise in trauma recovery.

Individual consultations regarding ancestral entanglements (in person and phone); Constellation inspired groups; mentorship for Constellation facilitators; and pyschotherapy. There is a strong teaching component to all my offerings.

Interests / Hobbies: Spending time and playing with family and friends is central to my life. Music, nature, prayer, yoga, drinking good coffee with my husband, reading to our eight year old daughter, and throwing the tennis ball for our puppy are part of daily living.

The Constellation work came into my life before my husband and I had our daughter in 2000. I am deeply grateful for the way in which motherhood and Constellation practice inform and expand each other.

Our fullblooded border collie puppy has the strongest identity in our household; my husband, daughter, and I are all mixed breeds.

Since attending my first constellation workshop in 2007, my passion for soulwork on this level continues to grow. Promoting constellations at Hummingbird Spiritual Center has opened my heart even more. I have a sincere belief in each person’s unique expression of life and have been combining spirituality and psychology since 1965, gratefully sharing with others ways to be connected to their own spiritual meaning.
