SCN Council
Council - [noun] an advisory, deliberative, or legislative body of people formally constituted and meeting regularly. The SCN Council is elected each year by the general membership and meets on a regular basis to help draft the policies and procedures which guide the Seattle Constellations Network. They solicit feedback from the members and appropriately respond to their needs. The council is responsible for holding biannual general meetings which are open to members as well as to the interested public. Members paid-in-full may vote on issues presented at the general meetings. The council also welcomes members to attend the council meetings.
The volunteers who comprise the SCN council welcome inquires, constructive feedback, and opinions. Our Newly elected Council members for 2010 are as follows: (email addresses for each are forthcoming)
- John Cheney
- Kirsten Lauzon
