I am moved by Constellation work.The first time I experienced it as a casual curious observer I was stunned and touched by the power of the potential for the individual and all the systems to which she may belong.
I am a Registered Nurse, with an interest in death, dying and beyond. I believe Constellation work can ease some of the anguish in losing a loved one, and I want to work with people facing the death of a family member.

I am profoundly impacted and awed every single time I step into ‘The Knowing Field.’ I always learn something new; I always walk away just a bit more connected to myself, the Earth and my Universe. I love this work and I love the opportunity to be in it, whether as a facilitator, a client or a student.
I am an intuitive healer and energy worker practicing in Sumner, Washington for the last 14 years. I facilitate both Family Constellations and Organizational (business) Constellations in evening and weekend workshops, with a particular mindfulness toward opening to creativity and healing shock and trauma issues. I also practice a unique form of weekly group therapy that works hand in hand with Constellations and which shares many of Constellations’ (and Bert Hellinger’s) roots—including Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Family and Generational Systems Theory, Tribal practices and theological/spiritual history. My work tends gently to the deep needs of the soul and addresses the most basic (and therefore powerful) ego and generational scripts so that my clients can rediscover their true voice, reconnect with their true selves and remember their callings. When the soul is tended to in this nurturing way humans become grounded in the true freedom to seek and find their best and highest spiritual selves. My Calling is to help you remember your Calling. I am very eclectic in my approach and use threads from astrology, shamanism, mysticism and energy dynamics to bring the greatest possible healing and resolution to every Constellation and every client. I am committed to my life, to my work, to my higher calling and to my clients.

I was a member of Brigitte Sztab’s Learning/Training Circle in 2007/08. I have immensely enjoyed weekend trainings with Victoria Schnabel (Sneh) and Francesca Mason Boring. I thirst for learning and new ways to benefit my own journey and that of each of my clients, so I continue to work with various facilitators, trainers and educators in order to gain as many perspectives and ‘new eyes’ on this powerful and simple work as possible.

I have a Masters Degree from Bastyr University based in Family and Organizational Systems and have worked most happily for the last 18 years in a very unique style of psychotherapy and Spiritual healing. I have been trained in Transactional Analysis, Gestalt Therapy, and Theology, so the discovery three years ago of Bert Hellinger’s theories and practices in Family Constellations was a very easy fit. While I always seek to improve my skill and my learning, facilitating Constellations and groups is like coming home for me, natural and easy. I have done intensive training in the areas of pre- and peri-natal psychology, particularly as it relates to adult life patterns. I have specialized in women’s issues (though I’ve been surprised by the beautiful processes that have come up for me in supporting my male clients in the last five years). My most profound work and learning are always in the areas of family dynamics and lifelong sexuality health.

I work well with individuals, couples, families and some children. I have a not-so-secret belief that every human should be assigned a good counselor at birth and accordingly, I work long-term with my Group Therapy clients. I consider the counseling relationship a relationship and use many non-traditional and intuitive techniques. In addition to Constellation workshops I facilitate workshops on Financial Health, The Good Body, Dream Interpretation, Non-Violent Communication and Sacred Sexuality.

The comfortable and inviting offices of Lion’s Gate Counseling Services, where I have practiced for the last five years, are in Sumner, Washington. I also do workshops in Tacoma and Seattle and am in the planning stages for workshops in Salem, OR and Sedona, AZ.

I am dedicated to promoting consciousness and integration of ancestral wisdom into western culture. The hologram of our ancestral blueprints is always with us, and we are in resonance with these blueprints more often than our minds can know or understand. Compassionate acceptance of whomever and whatever has been excluded is our human family’s calling.
In the words of Charlotte the Spider (from Charlotte’s Web): “I know a good thing when I see it, and my web is a good thing.”

Since 1998, I have worked multiple times with Bert Hellinger, Dietrich Weth, Hunter Beaumont, Heinz Stark, Albrecht Mahr, Ursula Franke, Gunthard Weber, Francesca Mason Boring, and other internationally recognized teachers in the Systemic Constellations field. I have organized multiple workshops and trainings for Daan Van Kampenhout, Sneh Victoria Schnabel, and Gabrielle Borkan; attended Germany’s First International Training Intensive for English speakers in 2001; and attended the Second Conference on Spirituality & Constellation Work in 2006, also in Germany.

I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington in 1992 and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My B.A. degree is from the University of Minnesota, a double major in Sociology and English and minor in Women’s Studies. From 1993-2000, my psychotherapy practice was held at Seattle’s Samaritan Center of Puget Sound, formerly Presbyterian Counseling Service. Since 2000, my psychotherapy practice and Constellation offerings are based out of Bellingham, WA. I have a Level II Certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, EMDR (1996); acreditation in Emotional Intelligence (Hay McBer Consultants, 1999); and longstanding expertise in trauma recovery.

Individual consultations regarding ancestral entanglements (in person and phone); Constellation inspired groups; mentorship for Constellation facilitators; and pyschotherapy. There is a strong teaching component to all my offerings.

I have led workshops throughout the Pacific Northwest and in Atlanta, Denver, Washington, D.C., and the Upper Midwest. My work is based out of Bellingham, Washington, located between Seattle and Vancouver, B.C., and I am available to facilitate and teach in other regions.
Miscellanea
Interests / Hobbies: Spending time and playing with family and friends is central to my life. Music, nature, prayer, yoga, drinking good coffee with my husband, reading to our eight year old daughter, and throwing the tennis ball for our puppy are part of daily living.
The Constellation work came into my life before my husband and I had our daughter in 2000. I am deeply grateful for the way in which motherhood and Constellation practice inform and expand each other.
Our fullblooded border collie puppy has the strongest identity in our household; my husband, daughter, and I are all mixed breeds.

The Family Constellation work gives me an option to offer my patients. In the short time I have been doing the work I have seen some amazing unexpected healing.
I am a graduate of Duke University’s Physician Assistant program and have been practicing medicine for the last 17 years. Over the years I have intergrated alternative therapies into my family practice (ex. reiki, myofascial release, cranial sacral therapy, herbal and nutritional alternatives to medications ). I found that patients were staying ill physically and emotionally sometimes no matter what lifestyle changes they made. I continued to look for underlying reasons for my patients inability to heal. A collegue brought family constellation work to my attention and I found the deeper reason my patients were staying sick.

Since attending my first constellation workshop in 2007, my passion for soulwork on this level continues to grow. Promoting constellations at Hummingbird Spiritual Center has opened my heart even more. I have a sincere belief in each person’s unique expression of life and have been combining spirituality and psychology since 1965, gratefully sharing with others ways to be connected to their own spiritual meaning.

I am currently in the Learning Circle facilitated by Brigitte Sztab. Sharing this work with others is a part of how I see my life continuing to open.

With my interest in integrating psychology and spirituality, I have M.A. in Spirituality and Pastoral Counseling, M.F.T. in marriage and family therapy, Studies in Jungian Psychology, Native American Spirtuality and Shamanic Spiritual Healing practices. I am a Spiritual Healer Earth Steward (S.H.E.S.) minister.

I became fascinated with this work after several constellations with Brigitte Sztab and find it to be one of the most effective tools in understanding (and resolving) any given conflict situation.
It has helped me trust my intuition more and gain a deeper and more compassionate view of human behavior.
Training Experience:
For the past 4 years ongoing attendance and/or training at various workshops including Johannes B. Schmidt, Daan van Kampenhout, Sneh Victoria Schnabel, Brigitte Sztab, Verena Giebels and Ed Ferrigan. 2 years facilitator training with Brigitte Sztab. 1 year trauma training with Johannes B. Schmidt.
Other Interests:
I have been a licensed massage therapist since graduating from the Australasian College of Natural Therapies in beautiful Sydney, Australia, in 2004. I have been studying craniosacral therapy for the past 3 years and will probably do so for a lifetime. I am particularly drawn to combining bodywork with family constellations.
I’m a linguist by trade, love foreign languages and cultures, the arts (especially photography), music, sports and nature.

My first introduction to Family Constellations was at a demo in November 1999 facilitated by Dietrich Weth, hosted by Brigitte Sztab in Seattle. I leaped into my first FC workshop in January 2000, followed by a year long facilitator training program taught by Dietrich Weth, from which a lengthy study group emerged; many weekend workshops, seminars and trainings facilitated by Brigitte Sztab, Mark Johnson, Ulrich Bold, Dr. Ursula Franke, Daan van Kampenhout, Dr. Albrecht Mahr. Co-Facilitated with John Cheney and Mark Johnson.
Length of Training:My entire life has been “in training”. FC began in 1999.

I have applied the Constellation approach with the 5 Elements of Chinese Medicine.
The 5 Elements (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood) have been used for thousands of years, as Matrix to view the subtle expressions of balance and imbalance within the Human body. When combined with the Family Constellations method, the dynamics of our health are revealed in a multidimensional representation. Acupressure is used during the Constellations to support and stabilize the resolution of the Constellation. I have found this to be a helpful tool to work with people without engaging in their life’s story and yet clear the conditions (feelings) which perpetuate the story.
